Connecting Google Drive takes three steps
- In Google Drive, open the folder or doc Seth should read. Click Share, add knowledge@ringly.io as a Viewer and click Send.
- In Ringly, open Seth's Integrations tab, click Connect on the Google Drive card and paste the link.
- Ringly shows the folder name and how many files it found. Click Add to Seth, and Seth reads the files in a minute or two.

How Seth keeps up with your Drive
Ringly reads the files you share with knowledge@ringly.io and adds them to Seth's knowledge, laid out by folder, doc and heading, so Seth finds the right part of a long doc during a call.
Ringly watches the folder for changes. New files are added, edited files are read again once nobody has typed in them for 10 minutes, and removed files leave Seth's knowledge. Click the Google Drive source in Ringly to see which files are synced and which were skipped, with the reason.
Images, video, audio, zip files, scanned PDFs without text and very large files are skipped. So are Excel and PowerPoint files: open one in Google Drive, click File, then Save as Google Sheets or Google Slides, and Seth reads the copy.

Can Ringly see my whole Drive?
No. Ringly only sees the folders and docs you share with knowledge@ringly.io, as a viewer, and it can't change anything. Stop sharing and Seth stops using those files.
Which files can Seth read?
Google Docs, Sheets and Slides, PDF, Word (.docx), text, Markdown and CSV files. Seth skips images, video, audio, zip files, Excel and PowerPoint files, PDFs without text and very large files.
What should I put in the shared folder?
Only what callers may hear, like policies, FAQs and product sheets. Seth, Ringly's AI phone agent, can use anything in the folder to answer a caller, so keep internal notes somewhere else.
Can several Seths use the same folder?
Yes. Connect the same folder to each Seth. Each one keeps its own copy and picks up your edits by itself.
