Zendesk integration
When a call needs a person, the AI agent creates a Zendesk ticket with the full transcript and a summary.
What Seth can do with Zendesk
- When Seth can't finish a call, or the caller asks for a person, it creates a ticket in Zendesk. Cancellation requests for your team become tickets too.
- The ticket opens under the caller's own email address, so they get your usual Zendesk confirmation and their reply lands in the same ticket.
- Your team sees a private note with a short summary, the full transcript and a link to the call, so nobody has to listen to the recording.
- Every ticket carries a phone call tag, so you can build a view for it or route it with your own triggers.

Connecting Zendesk takes three steps
- In Ringly, open your Seth settings and click Connect next to Zendesk.
- Type your Zendesk subdomain, the first part of yourstore.zendesk.com, then log in to Zendesk and click Allow.
- Choose when Seth should create a ticket: only when a call needs a person, or for every call. That's it, no developer needed.
What a Seth ticket looks like in Zendesk
Each call that needs a person becomes one open ticket in Zendesk, filed as the caller's own request. The first comment is a short message the caller can read too: what they asked for, the order number and what happens next. Under it sits a private note only your team sees, with the summary, the full transcript and a link to the call in Ringly.
If you switch on a ticket for every call, the calls the AI agent resolved arrive as solved tickets with an internal note, so they never wait in your queue and the caller gets no email.
Ringly only creates tickets. It doesn't read or reply to the tickets already in your Zendesk. The channel on these tickets reads API, so use the tag to route them.
Common questions about the Zendesk integration
Does Ringly integrate with Zendesk?
Yes. When Seth, Ringly's AI phone agent, can't finish a call, or the caller asks for a person, it creates a Zendesk ticket with the full transcript, a summary and a link to the call.
What do I need to connect Zendesk?
A Zendesk account. In Ringly, open your Seth settings, click Connect next to Zendesk, type your Zendesk subdomain, log in and allow access. No API token and no developer needed.
Does every call become a ticket?
Only if you want that. By default the AI agent creates a ticket when a call needs a person or a cancellation needs your team. You can switch on a ticket for every call, and resolved calls then arrive as solved tickets.
Does the caller get an email from Zendesk?
When a call needs a person and Seth, Ringly's AI phone agent, has the caller's email address, the ticket opens as the caller's own request. Zendesk sends your usual confirmation email and the caller's reply lands in the ticket. Resolved calls are added as internal notes and send nothing.
Do tickets from Ringly add to my Zendesk bill?
No. Zendesk bills per agent seat, so the tickets Seth, Ringly's AI phone agent, creates add nothing to it.
Can Ringly read the tickets in my Zendesk?
No. The connection only lets Ringly create tickets and look up or add the customer a ticket belongs to. It can't read or change the tickets already in your Zendesk.
